About McClain Junior Lobbyist Group

Following the start of her activism journey in 2020, Ms. McClain identified a deficiency in minority youth representation in the State and Local spheres of South Carolina. The primary objective of the McClain Junior Lobbyist Group is to increase the participation of minority youth and young adults in testifying before the state and local authorities in South Carolina, thereby broadening the impact of minorities in the legislative procedures.   Ms. McClain initiated the establishment of the McClain Junior Lobbyist Group with a mission of empowering youth and young adult minorities, enabling them to effectively shape policies that promote the welfare of their communities and foster a more equitable South Carolina.
